We’ve begun summer with some great people and places to celebrate!
First, a huge congratulations to our 2026 Scholarship awardees, Quinn Boyd and Luca Friedman! We were moved by their commitment to community service and look forward to seeing them continue that into their college careers. We have also extended second year awards to our wonderful 2025 Scholarship awardees, Cristian Ixcoy-Ciriaco and Eve Hayes.
Our Ambassador Grant season concluded this spring, and we were thrilled to be able to provide over $60,000 in grants and donations to ten different nonprofit organizations across the country. Those programs range from a Senior Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program at a community farm in Washington D.C., to environmental education programs at Jefferson County Greenways in Birmingham, Alabama, to adaptive dance programs for schools in Southern Maine.
Lastly, we are celebrating the two years of service Deb Fraleigh has provided to the Foundation as she steps down from the Board. Deb has made a big difference in service, working with the team through our grant processes and also taking on a leadership role with our local Nourish Your Neighbor campaigns. Many thanks to Deb!!
